Poem: Those Nights of Love

One rainy night, you took me to hide

To a place we could burn in warmth

We were shining underneath the stars

You told me I was yours and you were mine

Thought we were bounded forever in time

Then swore to the sky our love was high

One quiet night,

You stole me to a room

You tied my back in your arms

You blew my cheeks with your gentle breath

You touched my fingers

You rubbed them

You poured your soul into me

Having me blown so far

One windy night,

You put me on the grass

As I lost my heart to you there in the dark

Your build showed a picture

That my eyes could never capture

You danced your jaw on mine

On my tongue I tasted your wine

They peeled my desire

Took my core and buried it into your fire

You stabbed your love into my heart

Got it bleed and nuts

As you bridged your heaven into mine

I was feeling divine

One last night,

You whispered me a bundle of wishes

That forever you wanted me ever

You sang me thousands of love words

Then we danced again in eagerness

Blending our unfailing joys

Now, our convergence was through

You yelled me goodbye

You robbed back your heart

You left me behind my solitude

And when I banged your door

You kept it locked

Never wanted me in

The nights are now sleepless

When I reminisce those nights of ours

Or even want one more night of love
